CAP aids targeted at specific livestock and crop productions.
In detail
Coupled aids support productions deemed fragile or strategic: livestock (cattle via the livestock-unit aid, sheep, goats, calves) and certain crops (legumes, protein crops, soya, durum wheat, specialised crops). Paid per head or per hectare, they are requested in the annual CAP file.
Eligibility conditions
Holding and declaring eligible animals (age, retention period) or eligible crop areas; be an active farmer. Rates set annually by decree.
How to get it
- Identify the farm's eligible productions
- Declare animals and/or areas on TéléPAC
- Tick the relevant coupled aids
- Comply with retention/declaration periods
