In detail
APL helps tenants (and some buyers) pay for their main residence, provided the dwelling is state-conventioned. Paid by the CAF or MSA, it depends on the last 12 months' income, household composition and rent. It is the most common housing benefit.
Eligibility conditions
State-conventioned dwelling as main residence, subject to income conditions. Income reassessed every 3 months.
How to get it
- Run a simulation on caf.fr
- Gather lease and supporting documents
- Apply online via your CAF/MSA account
- Track payments (5th of each month)
